Questo indicatore viene chiamato Conversion Rate: rappresenta cioe’ il tasso di trasformazione della visita in ordine.
Dire quindi che un sito ha un conversion rate del 4%, significa che , su 100 visitatori, 4 effettuano un acquisto, dimostrando fiducia verso il sito da cui stanno comprando.
Poiche’ il traffico che gravita intorno ad un sito e-commerce consiste normalmente in alcune decine di migliaia di visitatori, una trasformazione del 4% e’ da considerarsi certamente un dato eccellente. In realta’, come si e’ detto, il dato medio si assesta intorno a valore inferiori, nell’intorno dell’1%.
Per ottimizzare il percorso che trasforma l’utente in cliente, si punta a temi come l’usabilità , funzionalità e sicurezza dei pagamenti.
Ma un tema chiave è anche la fiducia. Se si è interessati ad un prodotto, le condizioni ci soddisfano e ci si fida del negoziante, molto probabilmente si procederà all’acquisto.
